On June 6th, 2021, The Salem Township Police Department was awarded a grant from Community Giving Foundation for $20,555. The grant was was used to purchase two WatchGaurd 4RE/VISTA in car camera's which were installed in two police vehicles. The police department also purchased electronic door locks which were installed on the police department and the township building. The electronic locks play a vital role in securing the building and keeping employee's safe. The Salem Township Police Department would like to thank the Community Giving Foundation for helping the police department purchase these items.
